Just got back from a weekend follow-up stay at the MO LV, and was upgraded to an Executive Suite. I have to say this stay was better (if that is even possible) than my previous stay. Very friendly staff remembered me and I was very well treated.
I was upgraded to an Executive Suite on an FHR booking. I will take this opportunity to comment that I believe MO LV actually has three types of Executive Suites and they do range dramatically in size from smallest (mine 14-"01"), to bigger (ending in 00) to biggest (ending in 35). I reached this conclusion from looking closely at HaydenFive's photos from his
flickr posting, which was massively bigger than my "Executive Suite". Please also note that HaydenFive said his room didn't look anything like the floorplan on the MO website: the floorplan HaydenFive posted matched my room exactly.
I
posted a movie of my "01" Executive Suite so that you can hopefully see the dramatic difference in size between the rooms. HaydenFive's "35" room was the largest triangle at the lower right-hand part of the image.
I originally thought that maybe HaydenFive had gotten a different suite category, but larger suites are located only on floors 4-6 or 20-22. His room was 1035.
So those lines of evidence lead me to the conclusion that if you do book an Executive Suite you should specify one ending in "35" or "largest". I am guessing the "00" and "01" Executive Suites are given to guests who are upgraded from lower categories.
Some unexpected highlights of this visit: Bulgari white tea in the room, and a complementary house car transfer to the airport which the doorman kindly arranged for me because he remembered me from my last stay and didn't want me to have to wait for a taxi

I have to say MOzen is growing on me as well. Lunch was quite good and breakfasts are stellar (Kobe filet with eggs, and Southern eggs are both stellar. The omelets are so fluffy they almost float off your plate). If you can, ask to be seated in Kristi's section - she is a piece of sunshine from Honolulu that you will want to start off your day with (She's off Mon and Tues).
Will be back again on Feb 22. I'm getting the most from this two-for-one offer! Perhaps with more to report from a larger suite category
