Seat assignment through MMB using OW Sapphire on BA mileage upg?
Tried search, so forgive me if couldn't track this down.

Situation :
- WT+ seat upgraded with BA miles using BAEC (Blue) account
- Can't (under new policy) preassign J seat
- Am OW Sapphire (AA PLT)

Can I therefore :
a) Call customer service and get them to change FF# on reservation
b) Then go to MMB and assign seats
c) Call customer service and get them to change FF# back to BA and keep assigned seats ?
