How do you make calls in Brazil with a US cellphone? My at&t plan allows me to use my phone there, but they have no clue what you need to dial.

I remember in the past something about using the 2 digit code for the operadora. I think the phone there behaves like a brazilian phone?

So I need to know how to I dial a US phone number, and a Brazilian phone number.

Your help will be much appreciated! Thanks!
I don't know the exact answer to your question (as to using AT&T USA) for calls the way you describe. But, just a thought.......you will be paying a small fortune to make calls in this manner.....if you take your tri or quad band AT&T phone and get it unlocked, we have many alternatives as far as purchasing a new sim card, buying pay as you go minutes....and using service for about 25% of the US cost.
