There's an interview with Six Senses owner Sonu Shivadasani in today's German Sunday paper "Welt am Sonntag". Although not everyone likes their rustic design style his list of his personal third-party hotel (non)favourites looks interesting as it seems to comply with the majority of this board's opinions :
1. Most admired hotel entrepreneurs: Tim and Kit Kemp of Firmdale Hotels with "Soho Hotel" and "Covent Garden Hotel" being his favourites.
2. Where to stay in NYC: Four Seasons as in his view it's the most flawless and soundless hotel in the world.
3. World's best beach resorts:
North Island, Seychelles and Amankila, Bali
4. Most overrated luxury resort: Royal Palm, Mauritius
5. the 5*hotel he left right after arrival out of disappointment: Bora Bora Lagoon
6. Last hotel to stay before you die: "Villa San Michele" for the heavenly views of Florence
