Originally I was booking two different tickets but decided on going for the more expensive option which was on one ticket. This way I am protected in case of any delays. Problem is that I am upgrading on the Jet portion so Jet is saying that they will only allow me excess luggage on the Jet flight and excess luggage will be payable on the domestic connection on BA. But they don't know what that is. BA only charges 35 pounds per bag which I don't mind paying but Jet is saying that it might be Rs300 per Kg which works out at close to 90 pounds a bag.

Thats a difference of 65 pounds per bag.
