I was referring to the hint Andrew made. I´m aware that there is obviously no guarantee that AC will introduce such a status, but there still is a chance and I still have many years of flying ahead of me. And it would certainly be a great incentive to stay a loyal AC customer.

Maybe to put it differently:
Is there any advantage in flying AC over UA or CO as an Elite? (in addition to being able to use certs and the nicer flying experience in general)?

if you are GOLD then

UA give you 100% bonus miles on CO UA AC and US flights

AC will only give you 50%

also you have to choose that option.

if you fly 100k both give 100% bonus miles.
