We stayed at the Inka Frog and loved it. It's more of a hotel than a hostel- free simple breakfast with scrambled eggs and fruit. Price was $44 per night for a double with ensuite private bath. Very clean and the workers were lovely. The walk to Miraflores center was easy and took about 10-15 minutes. Everything we read on Trip Advisor about the place was accurate. We had them send a driver for us at the airport for $20. Although I speak Spanish well we were happy to have somebody waiting for us for a few dollars more than a public taxi at the airport that we woiuld have had to negotiate a fare with. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Rev...stel-Lima.html


Definitely plan on eating at La Mar Restaurant. It's within walking distance and only open for lunch. We ate really really well while we were in Lima when we were there 2 weeks ago.
