I mean this is really similar to the Continental BF 2for1 deal with Chase, you are required to buy a full fare ticket to use the companion certificate so it will probably cost you more to use the companion certificate than to buy two discount fare class tickets. Is this the right companion certificate or am I looking at the wrong T&C? It says "must be a current Chase BA VisaŠ Signature account holder and payment must be made with his/her Chase BA Visa credit card in US dollars"
You are looking at the wrong thing.
The one you referred to is for the PAY ticket 2-for-1.
The one being talked about is 2-for-1 AWARD REDEMPTION after you meet the $30K spent in a calendar year.
