Cleared, then Uncleared

I've had it clear as a 1K on a full C ticket using a SWU flying ICN-NRT-ORD-IAD, but then "uncleared". Was waitlisted ORD-IAD (and coming from ICN I had one of the earliest checkins)...upon arrival at ORD easyupdate dinged and said it had cleared. Get to the connecting gate and ask for my new BP and am told I'm still in C.... F is "full" (with NRSAs probably).
