You can't fly closer to the North coast of Scotland on BA than WIC - LHR/LGW/LCY-EDI-WIC (EDI-WIC-EDI BA codeshare on Loganair).

2 lounges on the way up and 1 on the way back - circa £780 for 4 in May - plus 20 TPs each and bigger handfuls of miles.
