Agreed...90% of hotels do not read that info.

I too will refuse these rooms and insist (usually nicely, then sometimes a little more forcefully).

Two hotels in Phila did that to me....one room was so small you could barely turn around!

The other thing i hate is connecting rooms. THAT should be an option...NO CONNECTING...

I also enter that into the request field..too bad you have to chop up your requests so that they all fit. At least *wood (or maybe hyatt) gives you LOTS of request space.

Sometimes rooms the FD thinks are quiet are not as they are under or next to some sort of machinery. (Which generally doesn't make noise 24/7--just the hours that i want to sleep!)
