How long does DL take to re-issue tickets after PMU upgrade?

I just used up my two last PU503s (good until July 1, to be redeemed by Feb 28) to upgrade a DL/006 iteneary for later this year (thought better be safe than sorry and use them up now while I can still see their status (open/closed) online, to ensure that they get used and applied properly - as come Feb 1st, who knows, they may be lost for good).

Others here have helpfully said that contrary to my repeat negative experiences with DL not reticketing after a PU503 e-cert upgrade (needing to convert 006 ticket to 012 to get it reticketed being the only way from my experience), that DL actually does reticket upon a PU503/PMU upgrade.

I specifically asked the agent (after more than 45 minutes on hold after some ruff guy who responded "This is Mike, what can I do you for" transferred me to someone else - that's the new "reduced hold times" for the Platinum Service line? ) that the ticket be put in the re-ticket queue. She said it will be, that it's "revalidated", and that I'll be e-mailed the new ticket. Well lo and behold, one minute after I hang up I got an e-mail, but it's still the same ticket # and still shows seats in coach.

I called back and asked is the ticket going to be reticketed or not (as if not I know it'll be loads of trouble at the airport, as by then the "redeem by" date on the ECVs will have expired, though still be within validity for flying range) - is it in the reticketing queue?, and was told that yes it's so. But, the agent didn't know when it'll be reticketed. (While others at other times have told me that so can be only done on day of flight at the airport.)

And how can they reticket it without the redemption code (always has been required) for the PU503 ECVs, that I don't know..

Anyhow, my question is: how long should I wait before calling again? Any tips on how to gently coerce a DL agent into actually getting a ticket promptly re-ticketed after the PMU upgrade (esp. as it's a PU503 that may be no longer visible come Feb 1st, and the redeem by date is a few months before the first flight)?

I keep e-mailing the receipt to check, but every time still I see it's still actually ticketed in coach.

I just want to ensure that the two PU503s get used ("Closed") and that this is properly reticketed while I still have some visibility to check on that online (i.e. only two more days), to ensure that it's done properly.
