No, not always...
Generally I’m not a big fan of A|Club. But yesterday I used the on-line service to claim missing points for a recent stay. I entered the details, scanned and added the invoice, and saved. Twenty (20!) minutes later I received an E-mail to inform me that the points where added. ^
So maybe you should always add a copy of the invoice to the request.
