My family of 5 is going to DCA from SFO this summer on AAmiles in F. We change planes in DFW on the way home. Our 12 year old daughter wants to spend time with the Grandparents in Texas.

Since this is the last leg of the retrn trip, is there and reason we cant have her leave the flight at the DFW terminal?

Will AA say anything? Can they say/do anything?

She will book another trip home, probably on another airline with Direct service from IAH to SFO.

Is there a way that return leg could be delayed for a month?
