I think they used to have this business-class upgrade add-on in previous years' All Asia Pass too...
according to the "Official Rules" of "All Asia Pass 2001/2002"...
27. All Asia Pass tickets will earn no frequent flyer mileage credit in any program (regardless of the class traveled) and may not be used to qualify for any promotional bonus offer or special offer (including Hong Kong SuperStop).
in fact I am not quite sure how their systems handle it though...since economy class booked in V while business booked in I...V is not eligible for miles anyway (except for Canadians ?)...but usually I is eligible for 125% miles...their systems probably can see it's an All Asia Pass and do not give miles even if it's in class I ??
