What you are saying is that the official policy is NOT to tag partner/friends bag, but at the discretion of the agent, it may happen?

As someone said earlier, this is entirely inconsistent with other AC policy of extending priority seating, MLL access and cert upgrade to partner/friends?

So I guess that particular AC agent at LHR who refused to tag my partner's bag is just enforcing official AC policy!! WOW.
