I am undertaking a long(3month) trip to many countries.

After doing a search I was unable to locate any good info.

Do any FT'ers know of any good services to use for travel/evacuation insurance? Obviously Google pulls up thousands but separating the good from the bad is daunting.

Any recommendations?

Thanks
+1 for MedJetAssist http://www.medjetassist.com/

They just do medical evacuation and are quite reasonable at $250 a year and will even do it domestically in the US.

I usually suppliment them with other trip insurance, usually TravelEx. If I recall correctly TravelEx (and it's been a while since I've taken out a policy) will only pay to move transports to the nearest hospital that provides "appropriate care" and it must be medically necessary.

TravelEx gets to pay the bill at the hospital that admitted you and MedJet will move you to anywhere you want even if it isn't medically necessary.

Fortunately, I have never had to put to use either of these company's services.
