I've been doing the BOS-LGA r/t shuttle for about a year and a half now. Corporate discount gets us Y fares at a discount - fully changeable, never, ever had an issue. I usually book the 5:30 on Thursday evenings, and if I have to change it, I call. Never once had any problem. Today I called to move to the 7:30pm, and the agent at the platinum desk said there would be a $50 reiussue fee because the 7:30 is operated by Shuttle america. I have never, ever had an agent suggest this before. She also said even though it was a Y, she could not change it, but only SDC. I figured it was pointless to fight and/or pay $50, so I said put me on the 8:30. Agent said, sure....o wait, we can't, because its not within 3 hours of the flight. Call back

Normally I don't even change the flight if I can't make it, I just do a change at the airport...but U/Gs have been crazy lately, so I do call to get up on the list (not that I care ab the U/Gs for the 40 minute flight, but it is nice every now and then)

Very confused. Anyone have any thoughts, or has this always been the policy?
