I used to do this trip about 10x a year until we closed down our STL office. Would have been nice to have mainline service simply to avoid the A gates at IAD .

At 6'3" those 2 x 1 RJs were painful since it is still almost two hours to STL. Will say we did make the trip back to IAD in a little under an hour once with some crazy tailwinds. The pilot actually came on and told us we were going ~700mph.

Funny thing is after getting into a travel pattern to a certain city I actually found myself missing my trips to STL, must be a Stockholm Syndrome thing.
