i have used points for a stay at sandestin fl but would not recommend it. you are much better off renting a condo from vrbo or something than staying at this property.

the property is medium sized but is understaffed and they can't handle full occupancy periods. waited hours for our room, screwed it up several times, moved our bags after we already checked in, etc.

on site restaurants etc overpriced and nothing special. the destin area does have some good places to eat but the property is located far from town and traffic is a nightmare. you are better off traveling to south walton. the restaurant at watercolor - fish out of water - is exceptional and its prices are competitive with the dives in destin.

they also suffer from resort-itis with inflated charges for a soda, parking, beach chair set up, etc. i can see paying for convenience but like many resorts you are really paying what they think they can get away for rather than for convenience.

on the positive side, they have large rooms if you are traveling with your family and an excellent fireworks show for 4th of july. and the beach is excellent. but you can do much better on vrbo.com
