Speaking of rules, in case you are not aware of FT TOS, you may want to check out:

Generally speaking, as long as you are not attacking fellow FTers nor bumping threads that are than 2-year-old, no post or thread should be deleted by mods if you're following the rules. I say 99% of FTers have no problem abiding to FT TOS.
If a post or thread fails to attract traffic or responses, well, maybe it's just not interesting enough for FTers.

If you can tell us what exactly is the topic you want to discuss, savvy FTers or mods may be able to show you the right way.
Are you into maximizing the value of award redemptions? Or are you asking the longest trip (distance-wise) one may take with least miles? What do you want FTers to discuss with you? Those topics may already been covered on FT already.
FWIW, I don't think
TalkBoard Topics Forum is the right place for your topic anyway.
