It's still kind of screwed up. It seems like TSA's proceedures are constantly at odds with Southwest's process. Reference back to my rant about pulling people out of line while boarding the plane thus forcing people to forfeit boarding position, something many people put a lot of time and even money into reserving. I understand that all of this is "in the name of safety", but sometimes you just get the impression that TSA is just running wild, the airlines be damned. Safety doesn't always have to be at the expense of convenience, it's just TSA's unwillingness to cooperate and coordinate. They just impose their ways like a bunch of bullies and that's what pisses people off.
