A little OT...but anything art work or anything at DFW that I should make it a point to see while I am there?
Well if you mean anything at the airport you could probably kill an hour or so looking around Terminal D which is easily reachable via the airside train. Term D is the new international terminal which DFW is more or less making a showcase out of so there are various displays, shops, and so on. Additionally I hear that the Hyatt offers some sort of day rate for someone who wants to nap and/or workout and get a shower.

Beyond the airport there's a fair bit to do depending on where your interest lies. Ft. Worth has the better museums but Dallas is making a go of things. It really depends on where your interests lie. DFW has a number of 'ambassadors' that wear vests and straw hats that can share all sorts of recommendations.
