If you get a CO 777 with the new lie-flat seating, go with that (though there's really no way to know in advance, at this point).
rankourabu makes a good point regarding Emirates. I really enjoyed my flights with them in business CPT-DXB-IAH. However, even EK has angled-flat seats in business (though they are very comfy for angled-flat). If I could guarantee the flat seat, I would always select it over any angled product.
