stephlac: My reading of the US Airways rules page on www.aa.com suggests that you will get the 1000 Q-points, as it states that the miles earned are "qualifying mileage" and count towards elite status. Valid classes are: Y, B, H, K, M, Q, V, U. Note that pre-registration is required for this offer and that this US Shuttle agreement thing ends 31Dec.
