$450 sounds like a lot. I booked LH F tickets a few weeks ago from IAH-FRA, and the taxes were only $63 per ticket. It was the standard US security/customs/etc. fees and $37-38 worth of German taxes.

Do you know what's causing yours to be so high?

I'm far from the most knowledgeable around these parts, but that seems awfully high to me.
