They are both lovely hotels, but my preference is PH Milan. Why? Because it is within a few blocks of some good sightseeing. A block to the north is La Scala, which has a very interesting opera museum. About two blocks to the south is the Duomo. Near the Duomo is a pick up point for sightseeing buses. I also like the casual restaurant in the PH Milan, adjacent to the bar. It has great affordable lunches during the workweek.
