If you were able to keep Plat on DL and do the challenge successfully, how far would you be from making Exec Plat? Maybe you should just go for Exec Plat and then you will have both the unlimited upgrades and 8 eVIPs.
The only reason I kept Plat on DL was because NW gave me 15k EQMs as a bonus. This year I'm exclusively on AA and with no paid trips to Asia on the horizon, I doubt I will make 100k this year.
