The huge party scene for this vacation does not really appeal to me (I already have several of these type trips planned). I am seriously considering Seattle. Not International and no beach but the weather is amazing in July with daylight until 10PM. Is Volunteer Park still have a gay (gay friendly) section? Also thinking maybe a few days in Seattle and then flying up to Vancouver.

Any experience with Vancouver?
