Many of us on FT use seatcounter to check F and C seat availability (somewhat more reliable than just checking the seat maps...this led me to wonder, what was the lowest F or C seat availability # when your upgrade cleared prior to going to DM at 24 hours? I've always assumed that when a flight is F1 or F2 (or even F3), that the upgrade wouldn't clear til the gate, but I could be wrong so I thought I would ask. My wife and I are waitlisted (on a SWU) for a flight that is currently F3 and our window has past...fully expect this to go to DM, but I could be wrong.
