I am new to BAEC and have 100,000 BA miles. I have recently opened/received a BAEC account, having taken advantage of the BA Chase 100,000 bonus mile offer. I now have 100,000 miles in my BAEC account. When I go to the BAEC web site and sign in, I see that my "Membership year ends 08 Jan 2011," and my "Card expiry date 29 Feb 2012. I am not clear on what this means. I believe I've read that I have 36 months to use my 100,000 miles, but, what is the difference between Membership year and Card Expiry? Or what do they mean?
