For the third time since BA switched from a 777 to 767 on the route I am unable to book with them due to lack of seats in my preferred cabin, and I am not talking about a last minute booking either.

Up until recently it was BMI who got a lot of my business on the route mainly because of BA switching to a 767 (that and BD's PE which was fantastic) but now I have either got to downgrade to a lower cabin or fly LY if I want a direct flight.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy the flights are full (hopefully they are profitable too) but with such a small J cabin on this aircraft it is so often sold out, never mind award availability which has most certainly suffered from the aircraft downgrade.

No wonder they haven’t added TLV to the sale this time...

Anyway, can't wait for the 777 to be back on route and I hope BA re consider their plans to remove it again for next winter schedule.
