I have a ticket booked on united.com which features all UA-operated segments. My first segment (IAH-DEN) has been moved forward by an hour. It looks like the UA coded, CO operated IAH-DEN fares are only bookable in conjunction with a connecting UA flight out of DEN.
So if your res agent is only searching for IAH to DEN, then the UA codeshares operated by CO probably won't show. If your res agent searches IAH to next city via DEN, then the codeshare you are looking for might show.
Maybe that would work...
