Swanhunter - Thank you for all the recommendations! I think for my dinner, I will go with casual at the Prince Alfred as i don't want it to be too formal.

Bee - Welcome to FT! I had been to your sister restaurant a while ago and enjoyed the experience and I'd like to try and come in for dinner next week. Do you cater for single diners? Also from the Hilton Metropole - is it a walking distance or does one need to take a cab?
