Expanding on og/number_6s' posts - it is interesting to contrast the Jetstar position on priority check-in/boarding (where available on A330 services with Star Class) with lounge access. While QP/SG/WP in Y can’t access the priority queues, they can still access the lounges (to the same level as if flying QF itself). [Of course, CLs in Y have access to both priority queues & lounges, just as if flying QF.]
