Hi there,

I´ll be flying more than a dozen flights (35k+ miles) on AC within 2 weeks (in April), unfortunately all in Y.
I currently don´t have *G status, though I´ll fortunately get AC Elite status after those flights. (qualifying early as I´m going from 0 to Elite)

It would be great if I could use the MLL especially on long connections (4h+ layovers), so I was looking for the cheapest option:

- I was considering the MLL annual membership ($425CAD), but as I´ll only benefit from it for less than a month, I think it´s a waste of money. Is there any chance of getting a (partial) refund after hitting Elite status or transferring it to another person?
- Is there any way of getting *G status for a short period of time without flying I´m not aware of? (like US offering Silver status for 90 days for a minimal fee last year)
- I may give it a try in CC to get some MLL passes (as I´d be able to replace them within a month or so there might be a chance)
- any other suggestions? (I´ve checked out Priority Club, but wasn´t overly impressed by their offering)
