BizJet,

I share some of your sentiments. In general, I don't see a problem with employees taking seats in F, particularly when flying in connection with business.

The problem for me is when the employees are served by the FA's to the exclusion of paying customers and/or when a somewhat hostile climate is created (i.e. I feel like an intruder on an "employee-only" event).

As an example, on a recent trip to GIG, I was the only revenue passenger in F for one int'l segment... the other two pax were employees and/or close friends. The FA's spent the vast majority of the trip hanging out with their friends and neglected to make regular cabin rounds. Everytime I wanted something (actually, only twice-- I really don't care for much other than water on long hauls), I had to ring the call button (which I find kind of imperious). and would be met with an irritrated glance over the shoulder from one of the "gang," followed by a very begrudging accomodation of my request (more water).
