Carry with you foods while backpacking
My daughter is currently in Australia and as she and a friend are backpacking, using hostels and trying to save money so they can stay longer, she was asking what she should eat for good energy. Here in Canada we have something called a Clif bar that is a great energy bar. Anyone have any suggestions for something similar there? I suggested things like cottage cheese and fruit, maybe cheese and crackers, beans and rice (course she may have some issue with cooking rice). Any more ideas?
