Actually, I am concerned that a few dozen people will be killed by this "door security" stupidity. Fire escape doors are now being impeded by "30 second delay" mechanisms. I won't be surprised to hear about a fire in an airport (or some other "secure" location) where dozens of people died because they were unable, in their panic to escape, to figure out how to operate the fire escape doors.
I can't believe any Fire Marshall would allow a fire exit to be blocked in any manner.
