Among the longer term requirements outlined by Mr. Mueller are:

Clear and coherent direction to drive
profitable growth as markets recover
– Market positioning
– Network design / expansion
– Partnerships / alliances
– Yield management / distribution
– Information technology

It looks like the long-haul routes to the US will be retained - with a bigger push to source passengers from the UK and Europe to connect via Dublin.

It also looks like they intend to maintain their position between LCC and full service airline - and as they say it themselves, "Standalone FFP with selected recipricocity"

They mention their partners BA, Jet Blue, KLM and United.

Regarding United: "Further expansion and development of the partnership will be jointly assessed and agreed and may develop into a broader and deeper joint venture"

They also note a gap in connectivity to Middle East/Asia Pacific.
