But some things cost the airline nothing (literally), for example priority check-in. The cost is borne by the other (non-status) pax; yet Jetstar has chosen not to offer this based on QFF status (but does offer it based on fare paid). For me that is a deal breaker (the high fares are not worth it, and the low fares don't meet minimum service standards for me to purchase them); clearly QF is counting on such pax to buy QF tickets instead of a different airline from Jetstar ... a dangerous game and a bad decision (imho).
