If you are looking for "action" and "adventure" you are better suited to those 3 over Thailand in my experience. This does depend on what you define as "adventure". I've absolutely no idea what the OP wants to do; if he's looking to Scuba dive Laos is a poor choice. If he's looking to trek in the mountains, good choice. If you are looking for a luxury vacation or a more comfortable vacation Thailand is a better choice
