+1. I was on a late night arrival from SIN on SQ in 2007, and I was sitting on the left window. I never expected a night view, but out of nowhere the city showed up so beautifully with all the lights up... Frankly it was the only time I have seen HKG being that beautiful. With my long-haul flights mostly arriving in early morning won't help either.
a nighttime approach over HKG is pretty awesome. Been flying in and out for 10 years, and will still have my face glued to the window if we fly over the city on a clear night.
