Just checked into the hotel. was told that Diamond members still get free breakfast.

I did not get a room upgrade because the manager was gone for the night when i was checking in(8pm), so no one can approve the upgrade although they do have nicer rooms available. asked the front desk to put in an upgrade request for the 2nd/3rd night when the manager is in.
