Tried making the booking tonight, and same result.
Just called and was told by a representative that they couldn't do anything. They couldn't explain why the award search was pulling up flights and allowing me to select them, but then giving an error at the end.
She did offer to transfer me to the web help desk.
The representative there got the information, looked, and confirmed that there ARE seats available on all the flights that were being presented. She then offered to book the award ticket for me and apologized for the problem and said she would report it.
I gave her my credit card info to pay the $10 tax/fee on the award ticket. Checked on line and the reservation was there, but so was a $25 on-line reservation fee!
Called back and was assured that the reservation has a code in it to wave the fee when the computer processes it tonight...
Overall...it should NOT have been this hard to book an award ticket!
Is this normal?
