you can believe the spudge from the previous poster, or read this. The NSA crushes & melts down the keyboards of any device that is going to be fully DESTROYED before they send them out. I wonder why they would be concerned if not for some granted miniscule chance of some form of password recovery from the keyboards.
Um, well, they are the NSA. I'm guessing the stuff on their systems is a teensy bit more national-security oriented than the stuff on my system.

If you prefer, you can get so paranoid that you stop using computers at all. I mean, the internet is a wide open free-for-all compared to wiping, drilling holes in, or <horrors!> placing an old HD in a drawer.
