To share a story with a different ending today I booked two tix from LAX-CDG. I am PE on UAL but wanted to give AA a try. I try to do a seat map and I get an error. I back up one screen (the credit card screen, with no dates on it) click continue and get to the final confirmation screen. BUT MY DATES CHANGED! I immediately call reservations and the note in the PNR that I called 1 minute after booking but have to call the aa.com people. I couldnt believe it, but no only would they not change my ticket without the $75 per ticket penalty, but the guy went on about how I should check my screen before I confirm buying things on the internet. They claimed it was ticketed immediately, how could they ticket my reservation 5 minutes after I book, even UAL waits an hour or so methinks???
