used to travel with our bug (chamelion) til I discovered the quinny.

a) the graco (or maxi cosi) adapter - NO MATTER WHAT, BRING THIS WITH YOU ON BOARD! put it on your lap. in the overhead compartment. I don't care where, but do NOT gate check it! this integral piece of equipment connecting your car seat to the chassis WILL inevitably get lost or misplaced, leaving you with a chassis to push and an infant car seat to carry. BTDT. NOT. FUN.

b) you will absolutely not have a prob going thru sec'y at JFK with this stroller. you just load it onto the xray machine. you gotta take it apart though, lay all the stuff on the xray machine. infant car seat goes through upside down.

c) depending on which airline you are flying and which class you are seated in, there is a chance that you can even take the stroller with you on board. if you fold it up nicely, lots of times if you are in F they will stow it for you in the closet, which makes deplaning a less stressful and much faster process.

g'luck.
