Well I had the opportunity to compare the Amex concierge with the Visa Infinite concierge and let's be honest, both were very limited, they could both properly provide basic services such as taxis/chauffeurs booking, flower deliveries or hotel requests, however they both failed with a tiny bit harder requests such as getting on the list at XS@Wynn, getting a table at el Bulli, etc etc...

So IMHO no big difference between both concierge services, at least not a difference that would explain a fee twice higher with the Amex.

For the insurances, after a quick read through it seems the infinite offers better insurances than the AF Amex Plat...

I think I will really need a better incentive than 20k miles (non status I believe) to cough up the 500€. Let's wait and see but I hope they will at some point, if not give free 1 year, probably at least 50% off to selected customers.
