I received my invite today.

Does anybody have any idea if there is any chance Amex propose a better promotion in the future ? (first year free, or more than 20.000 welcome miles...) ?
Any ideas of what happened for some other Amex cards or in some other countries ?

If there is any chance of a better promotion, I would better wait for this opportunity.
If not, I believe I would sign for 1 year, and then resign.

The reason I would take it the first year is that 20.000 miles for 490 euros is not too bad as far as I can see.
